Wisconsin is a “no-fault” divorce state. What does that mean?

It means it is not necessary for either spouse to demonstrate that the other has done something wrong such as committed adultery or engaged in abusive behavior. It only takes one spouse to testify that they believe their marriage is beyond repair.
